Job Description
Help to craft the next generation of musicians as a private music instructor at Case’s Music. Teach a
variety of styles and age groups in your private teaching studio. Very flexible hours, competitive wages,

We work closely with the Algoma District School Board and other local music education
programs to provide the programs and services that our community needs. We use cutting-edge software to help you organize and track your students progress at the click of a button. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music, or equivalent musical experience.
Previous experience with teaching or working with children (camp counsellors, tutoring) is an asset.
Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with multiple instruments. Our teaching hours are extremely flexible and we will work around other employment or schooling as necessary. Benefits are available based on your weekly hours.
Qualifications
Your resume should include the following:
● Primary instrument you play, and how long you have been playing;
● Additional instruments you play, and how long you have been playing;
● Any formal music education or training;
● Any genre of music you specialize in;
● Any RCM certification or other music awards/accolades;
● Any prior teaching or experience working with children.
