Cube Truck Delivery Driver

Lyons Timber Mart is currently seeking G Licenced Delivery Driver to join our roster. You will work out of our Wellington West or Black Road location. Lyons Ltd. has been part of the community since 1913 – today, we continue the tradition of being a family-owned business serving Algoma as Island Timber Mart Kent’s Corner, Lyons Timber Mart Black Rd., and Lyons Timber Mart Wellington.

The ideal candidate will find excitement in joining a team who provides customers with quality products, expert advice, and exceptional service.

*Available for 7am to 4 pm  Monday through Friday and occasional weekends

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Deliver materials to job site and customers’ locations safely.
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of the vehicle in a timely manner.
• Provide customer service in the lumber yard.
• Maintain daily driver logs and circle checks.
• Confirm load and paperwork are accurate and well organized.
• Keep the vehicle clean at all times.
• Operate all vehicles in a safe and responsible manner.
• Maintain lumber yard to store standards.
• Assist with other duties as required or assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Class G License with a clean drivers abstract (MVR)
• Three or more years of demonstrated safe driving experience.
• Friendly and positive individual with an attention to detail
• Team player with excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift 50lbs safely and repetitively.
• Forklift license would be an asset, but not required.
