Skills and Responsibilities:
Counter Attendant and Food Preparer Skills:
- Operate manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- Take customer orders
- Prepare a variety of dishes, including wraps, salads, shawarma, poutine, and more
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars
- Serve customers at the counter
- Portion and wrap foods
- Package take-out orders
- Maintain records of food quantities used
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
Working Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Repetitive tasks
- Physically demanding
Dishwashing Skills:
- Sanitize and wash dishes by hand
- Clean and sanitize dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Properly store cleaned dishes
Equipment and Machinery Experience:
- Proficiency with electronic cash registers and food dispensers
Kitchen Helper Skills:
- Remove garbage and trash from the kitchen
- Handle and safely store cleaning products
- Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
Weight Handling:
- Capability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
