Position: Loader Operator
Employment Type: Full-time, Seasonal
Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Loader Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience operating loaders, with a primary focus on loading and unloading materials such as trusses and various wood products. This is a full-time seasonal position with additional responsibilities in snow removal during the winter months.
Key Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate loaders to load and unload trusses, wood products, and other materials.
– Ensure materials are properly stored and organized in the yard or warehouse.
– Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
– Assist with snow removal duties as needed
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery and handling materials.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
– Perform any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
– Minimum 2 years of experience as a loader operator, specifically with handling wood products and trusses.
– Proven experience in operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
– Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
– Physical ability to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects as required.
Compensation & Benefits:
– Competitive hourly wage based on experience ($21-25 per hour DOE).
