Our in-house team of skilled carpenters, drywallers, plasterers, and painters ensures top-quality workmanship without the hassle of multiple sub-trades. We also collaborate with trusted local electricians and plumbers to keep projects on track.

About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Carpenter to join our team in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, finishing, cabinetry, and installations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials with precision.
  • Install structures and fixtures such as windows, doors, and molding.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and regulations.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction and renovation.
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle demanding tasks.
  • Valid carpenter’s license.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in carpentry or relevant field.
  • Experience with modern and traditional carpentry techniques.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
