Located in the Robinson Huron Treaty territory, we are grateful for the water, air, and food provided by these lands to nourish, heal, and protect us. We honour Obadjiwan (Batchewana First Nation) and Ketegunseebee (Garden River First Nation) as the original caretakers of these lands and acknowledge the contributions of the historic Métis Nation of Sault Ste. Marie. We recognize Indigenous peoples’ continued stewardship of the land and water. We also acknowledge the many Indigenous peoples across Turtle Island who reside on this territory. May we all, as Treaty People, live with respect on this land and live in peace and friendship with all its diverse peoples.
