Join Skills Ontario and the Sault Community Career Centreโs Apprenticeship Support Program for a free Skilled Trades Career Fair for Young Women on Thursday, March 23, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Quattro Hotel & Conference Centre.ย ย
While this event is geared toward Grade 12 and college-age women who identify as female, everyone is welcome to attend.
By attending, youโll have an opportunity to:
- Network with 18 skilled trades and technology employers
- Discover local career opportunities and apply on the spot – bring your resume!
- Experience a variety of activities that are performed in skilled trades and technology careers
- Participate in hands-on interactive demonstrations
- Hear from panel speakers about their journey in the skilled trades
- Listen to an inspirational talk from Emily Chung, licensed Automotive Service Technician, Motoring Editor with Canadian Reviewer, guest journalist with Car Care Business Magazine, and owner of AutoNiche

If you need help with your resume and cover letter before the event, the Sault Community Career Centre is offering a free in-person workshop at their 503 Queen Street East office on Tuesday, March 7, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am and Thursday, March 16, from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm. ย If interested, youโll be able to sign up for one of these workshops after registering for the event. ย If you canโt attend in person, a recording of the workshop will be available.ย
