Calling all newcomers! Attend this FREE information session and learn about Superior Adult Learning’s new FREE Skills for Success program!
Superior Adult Learning (formerly Program Read) is pleased to announce a new program that will help newcomers and people with diverse abilities in Sault Ste. Marie.
The Skills for Success program will provide small group instruction on the key skills that people need to secure and maintain employment, including:
- Communication
- Creativity and Innovation
- Problem-Solving
- Reading
- Digital
- Collaboration
- Writing
- Adaptability
- Numeracy
Once participants have completed 4 weeks of FREE training, they are eligible to participate in two work experience placements with local employers.
The program will focus on two streams of participants: people with diverse abilities and newcomers.
Attend this FREE information session and learn more about this great opportunity! We will provide you with some tips and strategies that you can start using right away.
This information session will be at the Sault Community Career Centre’s 477 Queen Street East, Unit 101, location on Wednesday, October 11, from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
